Dress Code

Students are required to wear uniforms during the school year.  The uniforms consist of dark blue bottoms (pants, skirts, jumpers, shorts, skorts) and white tops.  Students not in uniforms will not be allowed to attend class.  Dresses, shorts, and skorts length can be determined by putting the arm by the student’s side. If the dresses, shorts, or skorts are shorter than the middle finger, they are not appropriate for school wear.

Students may dress in other clothing on Fridays unless we are going on a field trip. All field trips require students to be in uniforms. Safety is a major concern and closed-end shoes (sneakers, soft bottom) must be worn during the school day.

Emergency School Closings
When inclement weather occurs, the school board will decide if school will be in session. This decision should be broadcast by 6:30 a.m. on CSRA radio and television stations. Normally, we will follow the public school system's decisions to close or delay the opening of school because of the weather.

FIRE DRILLS
State law requires that a fire drill be conducted once per month during the school year. The signal to evacuate the building will be a continuous sounding of the fire horn.
